Student Stadia Submission in American Entomologist

American Entomologist: Call for Student Articles

Developed in partnership with the Student Affairs committee of the Entomological Society of America, the Student Stadia column in American Entomologist is a unique opportunity for student entomologists to showcase their ideas and contribute to one of the field’s leading publications. We’re looking for fresh perspectives, lived experiences, and ideas that matter to today’s entomology students. If you have a topic you’re passionate about—this is your space to share it.

ESA student members can submit a 250‑word article preview for a chance for their work to be featured. The Student Affairs Committee will select the best content idea and the selected person will get to write a one‑page feature (up to 800 words) in the next issue of American Entomologist

Why submit?

  • Share your perspective with the broader entomology community
  • Highlight an issue, experience, or idea you believe matters
